Personal Options Menu

To change the preferences of your

Personalization Features:

• Make sure the vehicle is running

and in Park (P) (with an automatic

transmission) or in Neutral (with a

manual transmission) with the parking

brake set.

• Press the OPTION button (the DIC

will display the current driver, 1 or 2,

for a few seconds and then display

the first Personal Options Menu item).

• Use the RESET button to change the

setting of the displayed feature.

• Press the OPTION button to scroll

through the list of features.

• If a button is not pressed within

45 seconds, the DIC will exit the

Personal Options Menu.

Retained Accessory Power (RAP)

As an added convenience, Retained

Accessory Power (RAP) powers the

vehicle’s accessories (radio, power win-

dows, etc.) for a limited period of time

after the ignition is turned off.

See Section 2 of your Owner Manual.

Passenger Air Bag Status

Indicator

Your vehicle is equipped with a

Passenger Sensing System located in

the front passenger seat for the front

passenger frontal air bag, and a passen-

ger air bag status indicator located on

the rearview mirror.

See Sections 1 and 3 of your Owner Manual.

For your convenience, the headlamp

control can be left in the AUTO mode for

automatic operation.

Automatic operation can be overridden

by selecting the Off/On position ( ).

To reset to AUTO mode, turn the head-

lamp control switch back to On and then

back to AUTO. Automatic mode will also

reset the next time the vehicle is started

if the switch is in AUTO position.

Automatic Headlamp Control

Interior Light Control

To adjust the brightness of the interior

lights, turn and hold the interior light

control knob located on the left side of

the instrument panel. Push the knob in

to turn the lights on and off.

Auto Signal

The turn signal lever has two upward

and downward positions to signal a lane

change or a turn.

• To signal a lane change, raise or

lower the lever until the arrow on the

instrument panel cluster starts to

flash. Release the lever. The turn

signal will automatically flash three

times.
