DVD CONTROL KEYS
The DVD Control keys are active when the DVD deck is selected (by pressing the DVD key
on the remote control or the DVD+VCR key on the front panel).
O P E N / C L O S E
Press to open and close the DVD disc drawer.
0 - 9
Press to select specific disc menu items.
A N G L E
While a DVD is playing, press to view the same
scene from different angles (not available on all
DVDs).
Z O O M
While a DVD is playing, press to zoom in at 2 or
4 times the normal magnification.
3 D S O U N D
While a DVD is playing, press to create the
illusion of surround sound with only 2 speakers.
S K I P / S E A R C H B A C K
While a DVD is playing, press once to return to
the previous track. Press and hold to search in
reverse.
S T O P
Press to stop the DVD from playing.
P L AY / P A U S E
Press to play a DVD. Press again to pause
playback.
S K I P / S E A R C H F O R W A R D
While a DVD is playing, press once to advance to
the next track. Press and hold to search forward.
D I S C M E N U
Press to access a DVD’s disc menu (if available).
D I S P L AY
While a DVD is playing, press to turn on the
Title/Chapter/Time menu.
M O D E / R E P E AT
While a DVD or CD is stopped, press to select
“Random Play” or “Programmed Play.” While a
DVD or CD is playing, press to view all Repeat
Options (Title, Chapter, or A/B Repeat).
S K I P / F. A D V
While a DVD is paused, press to advance one
frame at a time.
C L O C K / C O U N T E R
Press to display the current DVD counter value.
S E T U P / E N T E R
Press to bring up the DVD+VCR menu system.
Also confirms settings in certain menus.
A R R O W K E Y S
Used to navigate up, down, left and right in
menus.
T I T L E
Press to access a DVD’s title menu (for discs with
multiple titles only).
S U B T I T L E
While a DVD is playing, press to select among all
available subtitle languages.
A U D I O
While a DVD is playing, press to select among all
available audio tracks/formats.
R E T U R N
When in the menu system, press to return to the
last menu viewed or to exit the menu system.
M A R K
While a DVD is playing, press to bookmark up to
3 scenes, which you can quickly jump to later.
