When a fuse opens it usually in-
dicates a more serious prob-
lem exists. Contact a Factory
Authorized Service Agent.
1 Magnetic Shutdown
Switch MS1
2 Fuse F (See Parts List For
Rating)
Fuse F protects magnetic shut-
down switch MS1.
3 Throttle Solenoid Fuse F4
F4 protects the throttle solenoid
from overload on models with auto-
matic idle option.
Check fuses and replace if open.

7-7. Optional Spark Arrestor Inspection And Cleaning

Y Stop engine and let cool.
1 Spark Arrestor
2 Cleanout Plug
Remove plug and remove any dirt
covering cleanout hole.
3 Exhaust Pipe
Start engine and run at idle speed to
blow out cleanout hole. If nothing
blows out of hole, briefly cover end
of exhaust pipe with fireproof
material.
Y Stop engine and let cool.
Reinstall cleanout plug.
