Voice Notes

The voice notes feature allows you to record up to 3 minutes of personal voice

messages or to record part of a call. This feature is useful when you don’t have a
pen or paper handy for things like jotting down directions or taking a message.

You can record voice notes when your Personal Communicator is idle, when you are
on a single call, or when you are on an active call with a call waiting.

Note: Recording of phone calls is subject to varying State and Federal laws
regarding privacy and recording of phone conversations.

Record a Voice Note

To record a voice note, press

&

. You will hear a short tone to indicate that recording

has started. The display will show the message

Recording and the remaining

recording time.

To stop recording, press

&

again.

Notes:

When you record a call, both parties are recorded and the other party hears a
tone every 10 seconds.

Recording stops automatically if you accept or make a call.

While recording, your Personal Communicator alerts you at 10 seconds before
it reaches recording capacity, and again at 1 second before recording capacity.
Once time is up, recording automatically stops.
