Add Chat Members
The Chat Menu allows you to specify the phone numbers of the people you want
to invite to participate in the chat session, view the member list, and start the chat
session. Up to 6 people can participate in a chat session, including yourself.
The Chat menu is displayed after you select Chat from the Main menu and enter your
chat name.
To select the members you want to chat with:
1. Select Add Chat Members from the Chat menu and press ( .
2. Follow the prompts in the Contacts Entry menu to enter a phone number or to
select a phone number by name or location from your Contacts list. See
page 78 for information on selecting numbers from your Contacts list.
3. Once the phone number is displayed, press ( .
4. At the prompt, enter your friend’s name (up to 5 characters), and press ( .
This name will be used to identify this person’s messages in the Conversation
view.
Continue to add members until you have added all the members for the chat session
(maximum of 6, including yourself).
