I NTRODUCTION
G ENERAL P RECAUTIONS
The following are some general precautions to remember when handling your MS2200 Series scanner.
D O N OT T URN the unit upside down with the platter in
place.
D O N OT P RESS on the window in the replacement
platter or the vertical window frame.
P LATTER R EMOVAL
No hardware or tools are required to remove the
platter (see Figure 5). Refer to the Maintenance
section of this manual for additional information on
platter replacement.

F INGER R ECESSES
REST both thumbs against the vertical window frame
for added stability when lifting the unit by the finger
recesses.
