To Clean Air Filter:
1. Remove 2 screws (A) holding air filter cover in place, remove cover (B) and lift filter (C) from air box (Figure 8-1A and B).
2. Wash filter in soap and water. DO NOT USE GASOLINE!
3. Air dry filter.
4. Reinstall air filter and air filter cover.
NOTE: Replace filter if frayed, torn, damaged or unable to be cleaned.
8-2. FUEL CAP / FUEL FILTER
CAUTION
Open fuel cap slowly to release any pressure which may have formed in the tank. Remove fuel from unit. Store fuel in approved con-
tainer before performing this procedure.
NOTE: Keep vent (A) on fuel cap clean of debris (Figure 8-2A).
Fuel Filter:
1. Lift fuel line (B) out of tank. A steel wire (C) with a hook or a paper clip works well (Figure 8-2B).

Nettoyage du filtre à air :
1. Retirer le deux vis (A) de fixation du couvercle du filtre à air, retirer le couvercle (B) et retirer le filter (C) du boitier (Figure 8-2A et
B).
2. Laver le filtre à l’eau savonneuse. NE PAS UTILISER D’ESSENCE!
3. Sécher les filtre à l’air.
4. Replacer le filtre et couvercle.
REMARQUE : Remplacer le filtre s’il est effiloché déchiré, endommagé ou s’il peut pas être netoye.
8-2. BOUCHON DU RESERVOIR / FILTRE A CARBURANT
ATTENTION
Ovrir le bouchon de essence lentement pour soulager la pression éventuellement accumulée dans le réservoir. Vider l’essence contenue
dans le réservoir et la placer dans un récipient homologué avant de commencer cette opération.
REMARQUE : Veiller à ce que l’évent du bouchon (A) soit exempt de débris (Figure 8-2A).
Filtre à Carburant:
1. Sortir le tuyau de carburant (B) du réservoir. Utiliser un fil de fer (C) ou un trombone (Figure 8-2B).

Para Limpiar el Filtro de Aire:
1. Retire 2 tornillos (A) que sostienen la cubierta del filtro de aire en su lugar y quite la cubierta (B) y levante el filtro (C) de la caja de
aire (Figura 8-2A y B).
2. Lave el filtro con agua y jabón. ¡NO USE GASOLINA!
3. Seque el filtro al aire.
4. Reinstale el filtro y cubierta.
NOTA: Reemplace el filtro si está roto, desgastado, dañado o incapaz de limpiarse.
8-2. TAPA DE COMBUSTIBLE / FILTRO DE COMBUSTIBLE
PRECAUCION
Abrir la tapa del combustible poco a poco para liberar cualquier presión que se pudiera haber formado en la tanque del combustible.
Vaciar el combustible de la unidad y almacenarlo en un recipiente aprobado antes de iniciar este procedimiento.
NOTA: Mantenga el conducto de ventilación en la tapa (A) del combustible libre de desechos (Figura 8-2A).
Filtro de Combustible:
1. Sacar la línea del combustible (B) fuera del tanque. El alambre de acero con gancho (C) o presilla trabaja correctamente (Figura 8-
2B).

CAUTION
NEVER operate blower without the air filter or dust and dirt will be sucked into the engine and damage it. The air filter must be kept clean.
If it becomes damaged, install a new filter.
