switch to STANDBY mode.

Used to set the timers.

CD mode.
Used to select the stereo mode or mono mode
when a FM stereo broadcast is received.

Used to select sound sources.

Used to stop the CD playback.

Used to search backward when CD playback,
or to select tuning when the radio used.

Used to search forward when CD playback, or
to select tuning when the radio used.

⁄3 DIMM button

The display’s brightness switches (in three
levels) each time this button is pressed.

⁄4 AUTO TUNE button

Press this button in the DAB mode to perform
a local scan (UK band

III

). (UK stations are in

the range 11B ~12D.)
When the button is held in, the full scan
operation (Full band and L-band) is conducted.
When pressed in the FM mode, receivable FM
stations are automatically stored in the preset
memory in order starting from preset channel
A1.

⁄5 MEMO button

Frequencies and station names can be stored
in the memory. When this button is pressed,
the “CH” indicator on the display flashes for 10
seconds.
Use the SHIFT button and the Preset channel
buttons during this time to designate the
desired preset channel.

⁄6 DAB button

Used to select DAB tuner.

⁄7 SLEEP button

Used with the Sleep Timer function.

⁄8 SHIFT button

Used to select the memory groups, A (1 ~ 10),
B (1 ~ 10), ... F (1 ~ 10).

⁄9 FM button

Used to select FM tuner.

¤0 DIRECT button

Used to select “Tone Direct On” or “Tone
Direct Off.”

Used to select AM tuner.

Used to select the previous track when CD
playback, or to select presets when the radio
used.

Used to select the next track when CD
playback, or to select presets when the radio

Used to pause CD playback.

Used to select the CD mode and start the CD
playback.

Used with repeat playback.

Used to set the volume.

Used to select the display mode.

¤9 CLEAR button

Used with memory playback.

‹0 Nurmeric (ten keypad) button

Used to select CD tracks, tuner presenting and
recalling stations.

‹1 CLOCK CALL button

Used to display the current time and used to
set the clock setting.
