SECTION 5 ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES

5-1 PREPARATION

Enter the adjustment mode when adjusting the IC-2200H Then the JIG cable as shown the page 5-2 is required .

ENTERING THE ADJUSTMENT MODE

q Turn the transceiver’s power OFF.
w Connect the JIG cable to the [MIC] jack.
e Push and hold the [SET] and [MONI] keys, and then turn power ON.

NOTE:

Exiting from the adjustment mode when the transciever’s power is OFF.

OPERATING ON THE ADJUSTMENT MODE

• Change the adjustment value

: [DIAL]

• Verifying the adjustment value

: [M/CALL] key

• Forward the adjustment item

: [BANK] key

• Go back the adjustment item

: [V/MHz] key

• Store the adjustment value in the memory

: [S.MW] key

CAUTION:

Need to push the [S.MW] key when storing the adjustment value in the memory. Otherwise, the transceiver is not
adjusted properly.

IMPORTANT!:

The transceiver need to be cancelled adjustment mode (as following method) to use normal mode when
adjustments are finished, otherwise the transceiver does not work properly.

q: Turn the power OFF.
w: Push and hold [S.MW] and [SET] keys, and then turn the power ON.
