Removing the CD-ROM drive
You have to remove the CD-ROM drive to replace the hard disk drive.
To remove the CD-ROM drive, do the following:
1. Remove the computer cover. See “Removing the computer cover” on page 36.
2. Release the CD-ROM drive by pulling on the clip
1 as shown in the following
illustration.
3. Unplug the signal, power and audio cables from the CD-ROM drive.
4. Pull out the CD-ROM drive
2, and set it aside.
