menu appears:

a. Enter the initialization string of the modem you are
using. Refer to your modem’s reference manual for
information.
" NOTE: Use A and " keys on numeric keyboards to scroll the alphanumeric
character set.
" NOTE: If you leave this menu blank, a string is not saved.
b. Press the [ENT] key to enter the string or press
[ESC] to exit this pop-up menu.
