Host Communications Examples
How to communicate to the host.
2.6.1
Serial-UART Communication
Using a serial connection to communicate with the board (
). Please note that the evlaution
board is plugged into a host machine, as in the figure below. You can use an additional laptop
computer, but it is not necessary. The host computer, when loaded with the proper software can
communicate with the board.

JTAG Debug Communication
Using a JTAG Emulator to communicate with the board (
). Please note that the evaluation
board is plugged into a host machine, as in the figure below. You can use an additional laptop
computer, but it is not necessary. The host computer, when loaded with the proper software can
communicate with the board.
