Locking the controls

You can protect adjustment data by locking the controls.

Press the

button.

The MENU OSD appears.

Press the ./> buttons to select “

OPTION” and

press the

button again.

The OPTION OSD appears.

Press the ./> buttons to select “

(CONTROL

LOCK).”

Press the / button to select “ON.”

Press the

button once to return to the MENU OSD, and

twice to return to normal viewing. If no buttons are pressed,
the OSD closes automatically after about 30 seconds.

Only the u (power) switch, EXIT, and “

(CONTROL

LOCK)” of the “

OPTION” OSD will operate. If any other

items are selected, the

mark appears on the screen.

To cancel the control lock

Repeat steps 1 through 3 above and press the ? button to
select “OFF.”

Restoring the color

The colors of most display monitors tend to gradually lose
brilliance over several years of service. The IMAGE
RESTORATION feature allows you to restore the color to
the original factory quality levels.

Press the

button.

The MENU OSD appears.

Press the ./> buttons to select “

OPTION” and

press the

button again.

The OPTION OSD appears.

Press the ./> buttons to select “

(IMAGE

RESTORATION).”

Press the / button to select “ON.”

The picture disappears while the color is being restored
(about 2 seconds). After the color is restored, the picture
reappears on the screen again.

Press the

button once to return to the MENU OSD, and

twice to return to normal viewing. If no buttons are pressed,
the OSD closes automatically after about 30 seconds.
