Using the remote control

Use theL and R buttons on the remote control to advance slides in your presentation. Connect the USB
mouse connector on the projector computer cable to the computer. See “Connecting a computer to the
projector” on page 4
for details.

Point the remote control at the projection screen or at the front of the projector (not at the computer). The
range for optimum operation is approximately 7.6 meters (25 feet). If you point the remote control at the
projection screen, the distance to the screen and back to the projector must be less than or equal to 7.6
meters (25 feet) or less. For best results, point the remote control directly at the projector.

Press the red laser button to use the laser pointer on the front of the remote. Use the laser pointer to
emphasis key points of your presentation.

Left (L) and Right (R) remote buttons

These buttons act like the page up and page down buttons on your computer keyboard. You can use
them to advance through a slide show. To use this feature, connect the USB mouse connector on the
computer cable to your computer. See “Connecting a computer to the projector” on page 4.

Up/down arrow buttons

Use these buttons to navigate through and make adjustments to the on-screen menus. See “Using the
on-screen menus” on page 12.
