4-1 Before recording
Before recording, please read the following instructions to have a good recording expe-
rience.
1. Before schedule recording, check the date and time setting again to make sure
the information of the date and time be correct. Please refer to page 24 for
further information.
2. Make sure this DVD Recorder connect to outer equipments correctly. Please refer
Quick-guide for further information.
3. Make sure to use the correct disc (with free space) for recording. You can only use
DVD+R/DVD+RW discs for recording.
Recording Way
To overwrite current recording
1
Highlight the title you want to be overwritten.

Press
REC, it will take you to the live screen (incoming video).

Choose the source you want to record.

Press
REC again to start recording the new content.

Press
STOP to stop recording.
NOTE:
" If overwriting current recording, the existing title will be overwritten (will now be lost) with the new content.
Recording Troubleshooting
1
Please check the following if recording doesn’t happen.
(1) Correct placement of disc.
(2) Compatible disc formats.
(3) Free recording space on disc.
(4) Please place disc in player again if all fails.
