4-2 Record Setup
Disc Media Setup (Only works a DVD+R or DVD+RW is loaded)
Finalize Setting

Press
SETUP in the stop mode.

Press / to select “Disc Media” then press .

Press / to select “Finalize” then press to confirm to excute the function of
finalization.

Select “Confirm” to finalize or “Cancel” to back to the current state.
NOTE:
" The finalization function only works once in DVD+R disc.
To return to the SETUP MENU screen
Press button.
To finish the setup operation
Press SETUP to exit from SETUP MENU screen.
Erase Setting

Press
SETUP in the stop mode.

Press / to select “Disc Media” then press .

Press / to select “Erase” then press .

Select “Confirm” to erase or “Cancel” to back to the current state.
" This function only works for DVD+RW.
" It usually takes 2-3 minutes to clear disc.
NOTE:
" Please confirm that the DVD+RW is in REC already, as this command may not be paused or cancelled, please recon-
sider the necessity of such acts.
" When Finalization and Erasing begin, all REC functions are locked; please do not turn off the power at this time lest
loss of information.
To return to the SETUP MENU screen
Press button.
To finish the setup operation
Press SETUP to exit from SETUP MENU screen.
