Erasing the recorded data [ERASE]
When you use a CD-RW disc, you can erase the recorded data.

Insert a CD-RW disc you want to erase into the loading tray for REC/
PLAY.

Press and hold ERASE for more than 1 second.
• The ERASE indicator flashes and erasing starts.
• Erasing takes a few minutes.
• When erasing has finished, the ERASE indicator
goes off and the unit ejects the disc.
• The ERASE function does not erase all the recorded data, the ERASE function only
erases some data such as track information. The erased CD-RW disc can be used
as a blank disc.
NOTES
• Do not turn off the unit during erasing. It may damage the disc.
