Symptom
Recording procedure
does not stop even
though the STOP
button is pressed.
The disc cannot be
ejected.
The button does not
work.
The computer does
not recognize the
unit.
The disc cannot be
written in the SCSI
mode.
Possible case
Recording cannot be
cancelled until recording
is finished.
The OPEN/CLOSE button
does not work during
recording or program
mode.
The unit is in the SCSI
mode.
An operation such as
cancelling recording
takes a few times.
Some operations do not
work depending on the
situation.
The SCSI mode is set to
OFF.
The SCSI ID number is
not correct.
The SCSI termination
setting is not correct.
The disc may be used
high-speed writing only.
Remedy
Wait until recording is
finished.
Wait until recording is finished
or cancel the program mode.
Set the SCSI mode to OFF.
