About the SCSI daisy chain

A total of seven SCSI devices may be connected to a single host computer. Take
caution to ensure that each device is set to a different SCSI device ID number.
The unit is provided with a D-sub 50P half-pitched connector and has a built-in
SCSI terminator. Connect the unit as the last device in the chain and set the
TERMINATION switch to ON.

Setting the SCSI device ID number

Each SCSI device connected to the host computer must be
given a distinct SCSI device ID number. The unit factory
default SCSI ID number is “0,” but you may have to change
this when you connect it to your computer.
To change the SCSI device ID number, use the ID selection
switch.
