Function & Setting
This function grays out sections that are not to be displayed in the monitored picture
area.
The grayed out section moves accordingly when the camera is panned, tilted or when
the zoom is adjusted.

For setting whether to enable auto focusing automatically when switching between the
color and B&W modes.
OFF
: Turns this function off.
ON : Turns this function on.
If the camera is not operated for a certain time after it has been operated manually on
RM-P2580, it will return to the status set at this item. The time setting for AUTO RE-
TURN to activate can be set under “RETURN TIME”.
When setting this function, make sure that the rear DIP SWITCH4 of RM-P2580 is set to
“ON”.

As the camera is sensitive to both visible and near-IR light in the B&W mode, there may be
cases in which switching the color mode to the B&W mode causes the image to become out
of focus in certain light source conditions.

This function is only available for the product with model name RM-P2580(A) as on the
serial number plate. RM-P2580 without (A) will not function properly.

When “AUTO RETURN” is set to “OFF”, “---” will be displayed and setting will be disabled.
