To verify whether the TCP/IP protocol is properly installed, proceed as
follows:
1. On the Windows task bar, click the button.
2. Point to
6HWWLQJV
and then click on
&RQWURO 3DQHO
.
3. In the Control Panel window, double-click the
1HWZRUN
icon.
4. Verify that the list of network components includes the

for the wireless network interface that you will use to access
the Access Point RLM (e.g. your Ethernet or adapter).

with "Configuration Scenarios" (page 47) .

b. From the list of component types, select

c. Select the TCP/IP protocol from the list displayed.
d. When your network does not use IP addressing, enable the

This will disable the DHCP mechanism that would assign an IP
address to your LAN administrator station automatically in
networks that include a DHCP server.
e. Enter a user-defined value in the

field of the format

range of 1-253.
When configuring multiple LAN administrator stations, make
sure to assign different values to each station.
