Playing/searching at
various speeds
Using the CLICK SHUTTLE ring
With the CLICK SHUTTLE ring, you can operate a variety of playback
options.
During playback or pause, turn the CLICK SHUTTLE ring clockwise or
anticlockwise. Each change in the CLICK SHUTTLE ring position
changes the playback mode, and the corresponding mark appears on
the TV screen for a few seconds in the following way if the on-screen
display function is on:
Playback options
View the picture during fast-
forward or rewind
Play frame by frame
Play in reverse
Skip a scene
Operation
During fast-forward, press and hold ) FF.
During rewind, press and hold 0 REW.
During pause, lift the top cover of the remote
commander and press
7 FRAME or
' FRAME. Hold down either button to play
one frame each second.
During playback, press < .
During playback, press SKIP/D.SKIP. Pressing
once skips about 30 seconds.
Tip
• Adjust the picture using $ / 4
STILL ADJUST if:
– Streaks appear while playing
in slow motion.
– Bands appear at the top or
bottom while pausing.
– The picture shakes while
pausing.
Notes
• The playback sound is muted
during these modes except for
normal speed playback.
• In LP mode, bands may appear
or there may be no colour.
• If the playback mode mark
doesn’t appear on the TV
screen, press DISPLAY.
