Using the various video input or the second tuner, you can
watch two programs at the same time.
During airing of commercial messages, you can watch
other program by using the CM SKIP function.

To view the Inset Picture.
Press

PIP.

(Press the button to turn the Inset Picture on and off).

L

Channel Display when PIP is ON (4 seconds).
Example:
Main Picture — Channel 12
Inset Picture — Channel 6

To select the channel or input mode for the Inset Picture.

If you want to change the channel or input mode, then press

SELECT to move the “

:

” mark to channel display “SUB.”.

Press

INPUT.

(Each time you press the button, the picture will
change as shown below.)

To swap the Main and Inset Pictures.

• Press

SWAP.

(Press the button to swap the pictures again.)

To move the Inset Picture.
Press

MOVE.

(Press the button again to move the Inset Picture to another
position.)

Freeze-Frame Inset Pictures.

• When the Inset Picture is on the screen, press the

FREEZE to

freeze the Inset Picture.
Only when the Main Picture is on the screen, press the

FREEZE

to inset a freeze-frame of the Main Picture.

• Press

FREEZE again to remove the Inset Picture.

Commercial Skip Function

• Use this function when you want to scan other channels during

a commercial break.

(1) When a program break occurs, press

CM SKIP. Then Main

Picture move to the Inset Picture. (While you are watching other
channels you can check the Inset Picture.)

(2) Press

CM SKIP when the program in Inset Picture starts again.

Then Inset Picture moves to Main Picture.

• When the Main Picture’s signal is black and white or the signal

is lost, the Inset Picture may change to black and white. In this
case, the Inset Picture may appear with a bit of vertical jagged
lines depending on the type of receiving signal.
