CLEANING THE PLATEN
GLASS AND RSPF
Proper care is essential for clean, sharp copies. Please take a few minutes to regularly clean your
copier.
Stains or dirt on the platen glass or RSPF will also be copied. Wipe the platen glass, platen
cover portion of the RSPF and the scanning window on the platen glass with a soft, clean cloth.
● If necessary, dampen the cloth with water. Do not use thinner, benzene, or similar volatile
cleaning agents.
