Conventions

Special conventions are used in this user guide to help you get
the most from the guide.

Typefaces and symbols in the guide identify terms and
conditions. The table below provides you with a description of
the typefaces and symbols used in this user guide.

Bold

Identifies an action to perform, like press a button or select

an area on the touch screen It also identifies terms, a
feature, an option or message.

Example 1: Select print.

Example 2: The ready to copy message is displayed.
Example 3: The normal R/E screen is displayed.

Italic

Identifies a chapter or section title in this guide. For more

information refer to the chapter or the section title.

Italic

Note: The symbol on the left and the word note at the
beginning of a sentence indicates additional information,
explanations, and helpful suggestions.

Bold

Caution:

The symbol on the left and the word Caution at

the beginning of a sentence alerts the user that certain
operations or procedures may cause damage to the
machine.

WARNING: The symbol on the left and the word
warning at the beginning of a sentence alerts the user to
an operation that could cause injury to them.
