• A file can be divided only when it is a WAV-format file selected by selecting "Recorded" in the

home screen.

• The files recorded in the WMA format cannot be divided.

• Free space which is more than the size of the file to be divided is necessary for dividing a file.

• When a file is divided, 2-digit numbers are added to the filenames of the two files obtained by

division. File division is possible from "01" until "99" is reached. When the first file created by

division is divided again, 2-digit numbers are added to the filenames of the files obtained by

the second division, for example "0101". The first file created by first division can be divided for

a total of three times, until the added numbers become 6-digit numbers such as "010101".

• Files cannot be divided if the LOCK switch on the SD card is set to the "LOCK" position. (page
