– Cover the motorcycle with a porous sheet or blanket.

Do not use non-porous materials since they prevent humidity from escaping, thus causing corrosion.
Avoid running the engine for a short time only. Since the engine cannot warm up properly, the water vapor produced during
combustion condenses and causes valves and exhaust system to rust.

Putting into operation after storage
– Take the front of the motorcycle off the work stand. ( S. 95)
– Take the rear of the motorcycle off the work stand. ( S. 96)
– Recharge the battery. x ( S. 151)
– Install the battery. x ( S. 150)
– Set the clock with SET CLOCK. ( S. 62)
– Fill up with fuel. ( S. 89)
– Make checks before putting into operation. ( S. 81)
– Make a test ride.
