The Vulcan 500 LTD looks low, lean and

clean thanks to its raked-out front fork,

spoke wheel and bright, classically

styled round headlight.

There’s not many small cruisers out there

for new riders or those looking for a

lightweight manueverable bike, but Kawasaki

understands, offering the dependable Vulcan

500 LTD—a stylish entry-level cruiser that’s

fun to ride.

Based on the NINJA

®

500R sportbike, the

twin-cylinder 498cc powerplant is tuned to

deliver more low-end torque for stronger

acceleration from low speeds.

The easy to read speedometer sits on

top of a teardrop-shaped gas tank that

holds 4.0 gallons for extended cruising

time—because we know once you start

you will never want to stop.

The 6-speed transmission allows the engine’s

full potential to be utilized and has a gear for

low speed maneuvering or relaxed highway

cruising. And when it’s time to come to a stop,

Kawasaki’s exclusive Positive Neutral Finder

allows you to find neutral quickly and easily.

An advanced digital ignition and 32mm CV

carburetors offer excellent throttle response,

precise combustion and great fuel economy.

3

Riders can appreciate the thickly padded

seat that’s stepped for carrying a

passenger. The 28.1-inch seat height and

low 439-pound dry weight make for easy

riding at slow speeds and help beginners

build confidence.

An automatic cam chain tensioner maintains

precise timing without maintenance and

ensures quiet, reliable running. The gear-

driven engine balancer reduces vibration for a

super-smooth ride.

Efficient liquid cooling helps keep operating

temperatures consistent, resulting in longer

engine life and quieter operation.
