MC5 models

COMPUTER

button and numeric indicator

These items allow you to select any one of the MC5 computer ports. As you
press the

COMPUTER

button, the adjacent number will increment to the next

available computer channel. The computer port selected will then be connected
to the current user port.

USER

button and numeric indicator

These items allow you to select any one of the MC5 user ports. As you press the

USER

button, the adjacent number will increment to the next available user port.

At the same time, as each user port number is displayed, the computer channel
that is currently associated with that port will be indicated by the

COMPUTER

indicator.

Accessing the MC5

The MC5 and MC5-IP offer three main ways to gain access:

Local user access

,

Remote user access

via a User Station, or

Global user access

via IP network link or direct dial up.
