and baud rate with the SiteGate-232.

Modem connect to SiteGate-232 will not dial out.

Make sure the modem installed on this port is set to "yes" in the LGM Parameter page under Console

WRU Failure.

WRU failures occur when there is a problem between the SiteGate-232 and the modem. Verify correct

speed on the modem and SiteGate-232. Verify the correct cable is used and be sure it follows the

ATAD cable pinout.

Manually Formatting the Module

Manually formatting the module does not require communication with the module. Use this procedure

as a last resort when there is no communication with the module. Although transferring memory

overwrites all existing memory, it requires communication in order to initiate the transfer.

WARNING: Formatting the module erases all transferred memory. The Transferring Memory procedure

must be followed after formatting.

1. Turn the SiteGate-232's power switch OFF.

2. Press and hold the manual format button (see Figure 1).

3. Turn the SiteGate-232 module's power ON.

4. Wait a few seconds.

5. Release the manual format button.

The module is now formatted.
