by paging it.

extension number ({1} – {6}).
To page all handsets, press {0} or
wait for a few seconds.

The paged handset(s) beeps for 1
minute.

To stop paging, press {x}.

When you finish talking, press {x}.

Answering an intercom call

Press ] to answer the page.

When you finish talking, press {i}.

Note for handset and base unit:

The ringer volume for intercom calls
follows the higher volume level of the
2 lines (page 52, 59).

L

When the ringer volume is set to off for
both lines, the handset or base unit
rings at a low level for intercom calls.

Answering an intercom call using
auto intercom
Before using the auto intercom, turn auto
intercom on (page 69).

When you are paged by the base
unit, speak into the microphone.

To switch to the receiver, press
{s}

To end the intercom, press {i}.

Monitoring audio in a room using
auto intercom (BB-GT1540)

You can listen to the sound in a room
where the handset is located using the
auto intercom (page 69).
Important:

Before using this feature, set auto
intercom on the destination handset to
“On (Ringer Off)” to allow access
by the base unit (page 69).

Call the destination handset (page

You can listen to the audio.

To mute your sound output, press
{T}

if necessary.

Press {x} to stop monitoring.

Transferring calls, conference
calls (BB-GT1540)

Outside calls can be transferred
between the handset and base unit. The
handset and base unit can have a
conference call with an outside party.

During an outside call, press {INT}
to put the call on hold.

To page the base unit, press {0}.

Wait for the paged party to answer.

If the paged party does not
answer, press {TEL} or {IP} to
return to the outside call.

To complete the transfer:
Press {i}.

The outside call is being routed to
the base unit.
