Settings 43
Phone Number allows you to enter the phone number
needed to establish a connection. Select Phone numbers
and press

to select:
- ISDN No. to enter an ISDN ISP number, OR
- Analogic No. to enter an analogic number.
In both cases, enter the «+» sign followed by the
number provided by your operator and press

Contact your operator to know what type of number
you should select.
Inactivity time allows you to enter an inactivity time
period after which the phone automatically disconnects
(if a connection was in progress) and returns to idle
screen. Select
Inactivity time and press

, then enter
a value (in seconds) of over 30 s. and press

.
GPRS settings
This allows you to change the GPRS
settings,
Login , Password and Inactivity time
(the same fields and the same instructions
as for GSM settings, please refer to the previous section).
APN allows you to enter the address of the external
data network you want to connect to, a text string (or
IP address, e.g., wap.operatorname.fr) used to
establish the connection. Select

Error messages during connections are mainly due to
incorrect parameters: you should contact your operator
before first use, in order to have the appropriate settings.
With some operators, the access parameters can be set
remotely. Please check with your operator.
This menu allows you to set the time and date, time
zone, daylight savings, and change the clock display
mode.
Clock display
Allows you to select Analogue , Digital or
Tiny time formats when shown in idle
mode, by pressing

. In all

Set date
Allows you to set the date by pressing the
appropriate numeric keys (you can also set
the date by moving
