About the LCD Monitor
A LCD monitor (LCD)
Press [DISPLAY] to change.
• When the menu screen appears, the
[DISPLAY] button is not activated. During
playback zoom (P68), while playing back
motion pictures (P69) and during a slide
show (P81), you can only select “Normal
display” or “No display”.
In simple mode [ ]

In recording mode
D Normal display
E Display with histogram
F No display (Recording guide line)

¢2 Displayed if [BIRTHDAY SET.] and
[WITH AGE] were set in [BABY1]/
[BABY2] (P57) in scene mode before
taking pictures.
¢3 The number of days that have passed
since the travel date are displayed if
you set [TRAVEL DATE] (P59) before
taking a pictures.
• In [NIGHT PORTRAIT] (P52),
[NIGHT SCENERY] (P53), [FIREWORKS]
(P55) and [STARRY SKY] (P55) in scene
mode, the lines are gray.
