SENDING AND RECEIVING FAXES
Please contact your wireless service provider to verify that
this feature is available on your network.
1. You must install fax application software. The following
fax applications are recommended for use with the
GU87 phone:

Microsoft ® Fax (www.Microsoft.com)
• WinFax™ PRO or ProComm Plus
(www.symantec.com)
• HotFax
®
5.0 (www.smithmicro.com)
2. When configuring your fax application, be sure to enter
the area code and, for international calls, the country/
region code.
3. Fax operation is the same procedure as “Connecting to
the Internet” on page 34.

data via the infrared
