Server List

In Messages Menu

...

Before you can send
and receive e-mail
messages, your SIM
card must be data
enabled and a contract
must be set up with an
Internet Service
Provider and the
relevant configuration
information, supplied by
the provider, entered
into the phone.

1. Scroll to e-mail

,

press

.

2. Scroll to Server List, scroll to an empty profile and

press

(Create).

Up to three Internet Service Providers may be
set up.

3. Scroll to each parameter and enter the information.

4. After all parameters have been entered, press

(C)

to return to the previous menu level.

5. Select the server setting that you have just edited and

press

(Menu). Press

(Set).

Note: Record your e-mail settings in the table at the
rear of this booklet for easy reference.

Settings

In Messages Menu

...

Set e-mail sending
preferences and view
status of e-mail
memory.

1. Scroll to e-mail, press

.

2. Scroll to Settings, press

.

3. Select Send Settings by pressing

.

4. To view Status, scroll to Status and press

. Shows

total number of e-mail memory, vacant memory and
number of protected, unread and used messages.

Recipient
Groups

Same as Recipient Groups in SMS
messaging. See “Settings” on page 49.

Signature

Add an automatic signature to your e-mail
messages. Select Signature Setting to turn it
on or off.

Auto Quote

Enables you to attach text from the message
that you are replying to. Set to On or Off.
