PIN or PIN2

In Options & Timers Menu

...

The PIN (Personal
Identification Number)
protects your SIM
against unauthorized
use. When enabled,
you must enter the PIN
every time you turn on
the phone.

PIN2 controls security
for Fixed Dial Store,
Call Charge Metering
and Barred Dial.

1. Scroll to Security, press

.

2. Scroll to PIN or PIN2, press

.

3. Scroll to desired option, press

.

Dial Only PhBook

In Options & Timers Menu

...

Restricts dialing to
numbers stored in the
phonebook.

Requires PIN2 code.

1. Scroll to Security, press

.

2. Scroll to Dial Only PhBook, press

.

3. Scroll to Enable or Disable, press

.

4. Enter PIN2, press

.

Note: When Dial Only PhBook is enabled, any
manually dialed phone number must match a stored
phone number. Phone numbers can be added, edited
or deleted as normal, but you will be prompted for
PIN2.

No SIM PhBk Dial

In Options & Timers Menu

...

Prohibit manual dialing
of pre-programmed
phone numbers in the
SIM Phonebook.

Requires PIN2 code.

1. Scroll to Security, press

2. Scroll to No SIM PhBk Dial, press

.

3. Scroll to Enable or Disable, press

.

4. Enter PIN2, press

.

Enable/
Disable

Scroll to Enable (PIN/PIN2 protection on) or Disable
(no PIN/PIN2 protection), press

. Enter 4- to 8-

digit PIN/PIN2, press

.

If you set Enable, enter PIN/PIN2 and press

every time you turn on phone.

Enter PIN/PIN2, press

. Enter new 4- to 8-digit

PIN/PIN2, press

. Enter new PIN/PIN2 again,

Note: If PIN/PIN2 is entered incorrectly 3 times, the phone locks.
Contact your wireless service provider for a PUK/PUK2 code. If
the PUK/PUK2 code is entered incorrectly 10 times, the phone
will not operate. All information stored in the SIM card is lost and
the SIM card must be replaced.
