Using Pre-defined Messages

Pre-defined messages can be sent immediatelyor theycan be used

as a basis for a longer message and edited accordingly.

1 From Idle mode press B 33 to enter the Create menu
2 Use e to point to the pre-defined message you want to use and

press B

3 Use g to navigate through the message and add anyextra text

– see “Text Entry” page 43

When complete the message can be sent - see “Sending a Text

Message” page 24.

Changing the Pre-defined Message Language

With the pre-defined message highlighted:

1 Use f to select

in the main option area and press B

2 Use e to select a language and press B
3 Press f

is displayed in the main option area, press B twice to

send the message

Manage Messages Lists

All messages, whether sent or received, are stored on the SIM until

theyare deleted. Selecting a stored message allows it to be replied

to, edited or deleted.

Receive List

Messages received are stored in the Receive List. A blinking “•”

indicates an unread message.
When reading a message, the sender’s information (if available) is

displayed below the text indicating the time the message was sent

and the message centre number. Press B to replyto the message.
