Multi-party Calls
A Multi-partycall enables three to five people to be in conversation at
the same time. It is possible to swap between a Multi-partycall and
another call in the same wayas with two individual calls.
Enabling Multi-party
With two calls connected (one active, one on hold):
Press c to display
Merge
in the main option area and press B
A Multi-partycall has been enabled and all three to five people can
talk to each other.
Adding to Multi-party
You can add to the Multi-partycall (up to a maximum of five) either
bymaking a call or accepting an incoming call. The call can then be
merged into the Multi-party.
Note
: When making a call or accepting an incoming call the Multi-party call is
placed on hold. When on hold, callers in the Multi-party call can continue to
communicate with each other.
Splitting a Multi-party
You can select an individual from the Multi-partyand remove their
connection. This enables you to talk privately without the
participation of the rest of the Multi-party.
During a Multi-partycall:
1 Use f until
Option
is displayed in either option area and press
A or B
2 Press e to select the caller in the Multi-partyyou wish to talk
with
3 Press f to display
Split
in either option area and press A or
B
The selected caller is split from the Multi-partycall and the
Multi-partycall is placed on hold (the remaining Multi-partycallers
can still communicate).
