Update your BIOS. Sometimes updating the BIOS will correct some
configuration problems.

Configure the PCI/PXI slot for level-triggered interrupts instead of
edge-triggered interrupts in BIOS.

Removing an Existing Adapter in Windows 95

If you are replacing an existing Ethernet adapter with the PCI/PXI Ethernet
adapter, follow these steps before physically removing the adapter card.

1.

Right-click My Computer.

2.

Select Properties.

3.

Click the Device Manager tab.

4.

Double-click Network Adapters.

5.

Select the adapter and click Remove.

6.

Click OK.
