Changing from Composite Video Cable to HDMI Video Cable
This section explains what to do if you installed the Digital Entertainer Express with the composite
video cable that came in the package and now want to install an HDMI cable (sold separately).
Your television must support an HDMI connection.
To change from composite video cable to HDMI video cable:
1. Connect the HDMI cable from the Digital Entertainer Express to your television.
2. Change the video mode for your television from AV to HDMI. If you are not sure how to do
this, check the documentation that came with your television.
3. You may disconnect the composite video cable if you wish.
If the Digital Entertainer Express is connected with both a composite video cable and an
HDMI video cable, it will communicate via the HDMI cable, but unless the television is
in HDMI mode you will not see a video display on the television screen.
