Greeting Schedule

Nextel Voice Mail Service allows you to record up to five separate
greetings that can be played based on pre-determined time frames. After
you have recorded a greeting for each time frame, you can then select
any of those greetings as your active greeting (see the following table).
For example, if you activate the greeting schedule after you record
Morning and Afternoon Greetings, the system will automatically play
greetings 2 and 3 at the appropriate times. See the list of pre-determined
schedules—then refer to the steps in the following table to record your
greetings:

To record Greetings 2–4, your Greeting Schedule must be active.

To record your greetings, follow the steps below:

24 hours a day/7 days a week. (This
is the default setting if you haven’t
activated your greeting schedule.)

Morning

7:30 am–11:59 am
Monday–Friday

Greeting 3

Afternoon

All Hours

24 hours a day/7 days a week

Greeting 5

24 hours a day/7 days a week

From the main Voice Mail menu, press 3 to access the
Greetings menu.

Press 4 to modify greetings.

Enter the greeting number you wish to create or modify.

Press 2 to record a greeting.

Record your greeting and press # when you have finished.

Press ** to return to the main menu.
