Connecting the ethernet port

Obtain the following equipment:

A regular RJ-45 ethernet cable with a male DB-8 connector and a 10
Base-T ethernet drop for a connection to a work station.

A cross-connect RJ-45 ethernet cable with a male DB-8 connector
for a connection to a 10 Base-T ethernet drop.

Connect the RJ-45 cable to the ethernet port located on the front panel of
the Passport 8250 device.

The ethernet port is a female DB-8 RJ-45 connector.
