Delete selected or all pictures.

Notes on Deletion
• Once deleted, pictures cannot be recovered. Transfer important images to a computer before
deletion.
• Pictures marked with the s icon are protected and cannot be deleted.
d Protect
Protect selected pictures from accidental deletion.
Select the picture and apply the setting in the picture selection screen (see
“Selecting Pictures” (
A130) for more information).
Note, however, that formatting the camera’s internal memory or the memory card
will permanently erase protected files (
A147).
Protected pictures are recognized by the s icon in playback mode ( A9, 72).
Press the
d button M c (Playback menu) (A129) M c Delete
Erase selected images
Delete selected pictures (see “Selecting Pictures” ( A130) for more information).
Erase all images
Delete all pictures.
