Replacing System Components

You can replace failed components such as power supplies, fans and the system battery. This
section explains how to replace failed components.

Accessing the Inside of the System

You may need to access the inside of the system to replace failed components such as power
supplies, fans or the system battery.

Follow these steps to access the inside of the system.

1. First, grasp the two handles on either side and pull the unit straight out until it locks (you will

hear a “click”).

2. Next, depress the two buttons on the top of the chassis to release the top cover.
