Press the shutter button on the remote control.
● The camera’s self-timer/remote control lamp blinks for about 3 seconds

before taking the picture.

● If the remote control receiver is exposed to strong light, the effective signal

distance may be reduced or shooting may not take place.

● To shoot sequential shots in the still picture shooting mode ( ,

,

,

,

, P, A/S/M,

) using the remote control, press and hold the shutter

button on the remote control. If the camera does not receive the remote
control signal properly, sequential shooting may stop.

● Read the remote control’s instructions for information on playback with the

remote control.

● If you are diagonally below the camera and you point the remote control at

the remote control receiver on the monitor side, the remote control signal
will have difficulty reaching the receiver.

If the camera’s self-timer/remote control lamp does not blink after

pressing the shutter button on the remote control.
T The remote control may be too far from the camera. Move closer to

the camera and press the shutter button again on the remote control.

T There is signal interference. Change the signal as described in the

remote control’s instructions.

How to cancel the remote control mode.

T The remote control mode is not canceled automatically after shooting.

Perform step 2 on page 94: Set

to OFF.
