Program Play & Random Play

Program Play (CD)

1. Press the PROG. button.

2. Use the LEFT/RIGHT buttons to select

PROGRAM. Press the ENTER button.

3. Use the LEFT/RIGHT/UP/DOWN buttons to

select the first track to add to the program.
Press the ENTER button. The selection numbers
appear in the Program Order box.

4. Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE ( ) button.

The disc will be played in programmed order.

Random Play (only CD-DA)

1. Press the PROG. button.

2. Use the LEFT/RIGHT buttons to select RANDOM.

Press the ENTER button.

3. You can see the RANDOM 1/2/3, choose a

number by using the LEFT/RIGHT buttons and
then press the ENTER button.

- Random 1: Plays all the tracks on a single disc

in random order and then stop.

- Random 2 : Plays all the tracks on current disc

in random order and then plays all
the tracks on each succeeding disc
in random order and then stops.

- Random 3 : Plays 3 tracks randomly from a disc

and then plays 3 tracks randomly
on other discs until all CD discs
turn twice.

4. To return to normal playback, press CLEAR

button.

Note

• Depending on a disc, the Program and Random

Play functions may not work.

• This unit can support a maximum of 20

programmed tracks.

• While in playback mode, press the CLEAR button

on the remote control to cancel Programmed Play
or Random Play.

• During EXCHANGE function, Random play doesn’t

work.
