Setting Automatic Power Down

The TV can be configured to automatically turn itself
off after 4 hours if you do not operate the TV either
from the remote control or the TV control panel.

When the following features are set, the feature

that is set for the nearest time will function.

−Automatic Power Down

−Sleep Timer

−Wallpaper/Auto Power Off

−Auto shutdown after 1 hour of inactivity (after

powering on by On Timer)

−No signal auto power off (after 14 minutes of

no signal)

Setting No Signal Power Down

When an input’s setting in this feature is set to On,
The TV will automatically turn itself off after 14
minutes if no signal is detected. You can change each
input’s setting to Off: ANT/CABLE, Video 1, Video
2, ColorStream HD1, ColorStream HD2, HDMI 1,
HDMI 2, HDMI 3, HDMI 4 (except 24SL415U), PC.

Default setting for each input is On.

A warning message will appear 1 minute before

turning off.

Displaying TV status information

To display TV status information:

The following information will be displayed
(if applicable):
• Current input (

ANT/CABLE, Video, etc.)

• Either “CABLE” (for cable TV) or “ANT” (for over-the-

air broadcasts), if ANT/CABLE is the current input.

• Channel number (if in

ANT/CABLE mode)

• Input label (if set)
• Digital signal strength indicator (bar graph in lower

right corner of box; for ATSC signals only)

• Stereo, Mono, or SAP audio status (when in HDMI

input mode, PCM)

• Video resolution
• Aspect ratio of incoming video signal (4:3 or 16:9)
• V-Chip rating status (if applicable)
• GameTimer (if set)
• Channel Label (If set or received)

To close the screen:
Press

again.

The following additional information (only available
for

ANT/CABLE input) will display for off-air digital

channels (if applicable):
• Title
• Duration
• Detailed description

To display the next program’s information for digital
channels, press

again. Pressing

a third time

will remove the entire banner.
