Parental control
This setting prevents the playback of DVDs that may not
be suitable for all audiences, by using the rating level that
may be encoded on the disc. If the rating level on the disc
is higher than the preset level the playback function will
not be enabled unless the password is entered.
1.
Press or
ENTER
to access the sub-menu.
2.
Enter your password using the numeric buttons and
press
ENTER
to select OK.
Note: If you have not chosen a password yet, the factory
preset password is 3308.
3.
Press
ENTER
again.The Parental menu appears.
Choose Rating
Note:The disc publisher is responsible for coding scenes
according to the rating limits. In Europe, very few discs have
coded scenes.

to access the sub-menu.

Select Choose Rating and press

ENTER

3.
Select the rating level using the

buttons,
then press
ENTER
to confirm.
Set Password
This option allows you to change the password.
1.
Press or
ENTER
to access the sub-menu.
2.
Select Set Password and press

ENTER
.The
“New Password” menu appears.
3.
Enter the new password (maximum 4 digits) and
press
ENTER
.You are prompted to enter it again to
confirm. Press
ENTER
to select OK and press
ENTER
again.
Factory Defaults
This option restores the factory-set settings.
