USING THE ANSWERING MACHINE

Answering System

LEAVING A MEMO TO THE DESIGNATED MAILBOX

You can use the base unit to record a memo (up to 10 minutes), as a
reminder to yourself or as a message for someone else in the
household. A memo is stored and played back like any other incoming
message, and the Selected Mailbox LED will blink to indicate that a
message has been received.

Hold down

till a beep sounds.

The Answering machine announces “Please select mailbox”.

to select the mailbox.

The TAD announces “record your message after the tone” and --
appears in the message counter window.

When the tone sounds, speak your message. When you finish the
memo, press

.

NOTE:

The Answering machine can not record a memo less than two seconds long.

USING THE MAILBOX FROM THE REMOTE LOCATION

You can record the messages from specific callers in a designated
mailbox. For example, when you are away from your home, you might
want to record your message separately from other messages.

and mailbox number while the caller is hearing

the greeting message.

For example, press

to record the message in

mailbox 2. The answering machine announces ‘’Mailbox 2’’
and becomes ready to record the message.

NOTE:

Unless specified above, the incoming messages are recorded in mailbox 1.
