GETTING STARTED
BATTERY INSTALLATION
Your uh049sx pack includes 3 AA rechargeable NiMH batteries to power the unit.
You must install and then charge the batteries for 15 hrs before use. The uh049sx
can also use 3 AA Alkaline batteries.
Do not mix old and new batteries to avoid damage to the unit.
To install the batteries:
1. Make sure your radio is OFF.
2. Remove the battery
compartment door by
pressing the tab at the bottom
of the compartment door.
3. Install the batteries to the
battery compartment.
4. Replace the battery
compartment door.
